REQUIRED ANNUALLY IN ACCORDANCE WITH WAC 246-976-161

Credit for attendance is achieved by participating in the drill or reviewing the presentation & successfully completing a knowledge or practical skills assessment from a WA DOH Senior EMS Instructor or EMS Evaluator.  All sessions are in accordance with WA State Amended Curriculums, EMS protocols and are competency-based.  IV / IO skills must be maintained for recertification.  Skills maintenance can be completed on incidents, during drills, or from ER rotations at Southwest Washington Medical Center.  Rotations are scheduled through the Clinical Officer for inclusion on the SWEMS Council Clinical Calendar, which can be viewed at www.swems.org.
